About

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Appalachian State University. On the farming and gardening side of my life there is a little Gregor Mendel and a mad scientist within me and this is something I hope to be able to share with you 

I am actively involved with: NCCGP -North Carolina Community Gardens Project., Meck Bees -Mecklenburg Bee Keepers Association, NC Co-Op Extension Beginning Farmers and Food Rescue. I make volunteering a regular habit with Food Rescue and enjoy saving good food from waste. It is amazing the sense of satisfaction and privilege you get from delivering food to outlets like  Blessings in the Storm  and Fort Mill Care Center. 

I / Fisher Family Farms / Aurule am working to develop and support projects that will benefit communities and help individuals. It is all gonna be centered around food.
